Overnight Rafting/Camping Experience

Combine the best of both worlds and you have Chattooga whitewater rafting on Section III and IV along with an overnight camping experience in the Sumter National Forest!  On day one you’ll experience the tranquil beauty of the Chattooga River's Section III.  After the day's rafting, you’ll have time for a short hike, a leisurely swim or...bring your fishing pole and see if you can catch dinner! (Be sure to have either a Georgia or South Carolina fishing license).

Our expert camp chefs prepare a meal of steak or locally caught trout, allowing time for you to relax and enjoy the magnificence of nature at it’s finest. You’ll wake up to the aroma of a hearty country breakfast which will provide you the energy to make it through an intense day of very exciting whitewater rafting ahead.  The 2nd day of your overnight trip will consist of the demanding and exhilirating rapids of Section IV of the Chattooga River.

Lack camping gear?  Don’t worry – the only thing you’ll need is a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and a sense of adventure. Our professionals will provide the rest!  If you have a larger group of 15 or more, be sure to ask about our custom overnight trips as well!

Overnight trips are available any time of year but we have prescheduled Saturday and Sunday dates listed below. We can build trips during the week with enough interest or you can schedule a private overnighter with a group of 15 or more assuming there is availability on your preferred dates. Hopefully this flexibility will allow you the opportunity to fit this amazing trip into your vacation plans!
