Snuffy was born and raised in South Carolina, and is a Chattooga River Area legend.  He is a graduate of The Citadel outside of Charleston, South Carolina. He has been guiding Chattooga River Rafting trips for Southeastern Expeditions on the Chattooga since 1986.  He has lead our river guide training program for the last 15 years ensuring all new guides get the professional training SEE demands.  In addition to his work with Southeastern Expeditions on the Chattooga River, Snuffy guides on West Virginia's Gauley River in the fall, occasionally works on the Ocoee River, and is often seen kayaking area rivers.  A Chattooga River trip with Snuffy can be a life altering experience!
